Our goal was to incorporate detailed LC geometry and axonal path information to determine axon-specific pressure gradients that could help predict more precisely the susceptibility to neuropathy. We found that axons with more tortuous paths have lower gradients, potentially protecting them from elevated intraocular pressure.
